Suite 1 and Suite 2 - Avid media Composer 9000XL
The 9000 Xl runs on a Macintosh G4 with Mac 0S9.x. Using Avids Meriden video subsystem. It provides 601, Component S-video and Composite I/O. Two uncompressed (1:1) ITU-R 601 video streams come standard, as we as resolutions of 2:1, 3:1,10:1 and 20:1 two field, 2:1, 4:1 and 5:1 single field and progressive offline resolutions of 14:1, 28:1 and 35:1. Multi-camera resolutions include 10:1m and 4:1m for interlace and 8:1 and 3:1 for progressive. Multiple formats 4:3 and 16.9 for input and 4:3, 16:9, 15:9, 14:9, letterbox output (compressed resolutions) are also available. All Pan and Scan moves are key frame able on X.Y and Z axis. This is the premier system for full-featured offline, film, and online editors who require top quality results and the maximum choice of effects. It delivers dual-stream compressed and uncompressed 601 images, real-time 3D Effects, plus real-time 9-stream hardware multi-camera capability.
Suite 3 - Avid Media Composer 1000
The Media Composer 1000 is used as a video on and off-line editing system. It offers an extensive range of finishing features including component video in and out, AVR3s, AVR12s and AVR70 to AVR77, real-time effects and titling, 8 video track layering, unlimited key framing.
